EQTiger Editorial Standards
Our learning material aims to be useful, specific, and honest about evidence. Publication does not imply qualified expert review or validation of the assessment.

Answer first, then explain
Every article answers its primary question directly in a two- to four-sentence summary. The body adds original, realistic examples, at least one practical exercise with steps, and common mistakes or boundaries where useful. We use plain American English, short paragraphs, and a warm, careful voice. We avoid filler introductions and padded lists.
Sources and uncertainty
Factual research claims link to sources that an editor has opened and checked for matching title and authors. We prefer peer-reviewed papers, universities, and professional bodies. Practical suggestions are identified as exercises, not established treatments or promises of an outcome. Examples are illustrative and are not testimonials.
We distinguish ability EI, trait EI, and mixed models. We explain uncertainty and do not borrow validation evidence from another instrument to support EQTiger. We do not invent studies, statistics, reviews, user counts, credentials, or quotations.
Authorship and review
The byline EQTiger Editorial identifies the publishing organization. It does not imply a qualified psychologist authored or reviewed the article. Articles with substantive psychological claims display “Reviewed by: pending qualified review” until a qualified reviewer has actually reviewed them.
The last-reviewed date records an editorial content check, not an expert endorsement. A completed expert review must include a real reviewer, appropriate qualifications, review scope, and recorded corrections before the status changes. Publication and expert review are separate statuses.
Corrections and maintenance
Send corrections through contact support with the URL, passage, and supporting source. We assess the issue, revise material claims when warranted, and update the review date when the content changes meaningfully. Draft articles stay out of search indexes and public navigation.
