EQTiger FAQ: Assessment, Reports, and Payment

EQTiger is a 36-item emotional intelligence assessment for adults who want to reflect on emotions, communication, and relationships. It provides descriptive feedback, not a clinical evaluation.

Yes. Completing the assessment and seeing your free summary costs nothing. The optional full report costs $6.95 once.

Allow about nine minutes. This is a planning estimate, not a measured average or a deadline. Take the time you need to read each situation.

The six product dimensions cover emotional self-awareness, regulation, empathy and perspective-taking, social awareness, relationship communication, and conflict navigation.

You will choose among responses to short interpersonal scenarios and describe how often everyday habits fit you. There are 18 scenario items and 18 habit items.

The free result shows your profile name and short summary, strongest area when available, questions answered, time taken, and your optional self-estimate. Scores, bands, and answer review are in the full report.

The full report includes descriptive scores, dimension interpretations, separate judgment and habit feedback, strengths, growth areas, reflection prompts, exercises, and next steps.

No. The full report is a one-time purchase for the completed attempt. There is no trial, recurring billing, or automatic renewal.

Fixed server-side rules score scenario choices and habit responses separately. Available components receive equal weight within each dimension, and available dimension scores form the overall score. AI does not calculate scores.

Emerging is below 40, Developing is 40 to below 60, Established is 60 to below 80, and Strong is 80 to 100. These are descriptive EQTiger design bands, not population rankings.

No. The number describes your answers on the EQTiger scale. EQTiger has no representative comparison sample and does not tell you where you rank among other people.

No. The item bank, six dimensions, scoring weights, and bands have not been established as a validated psychometric instrument. Use the result for reflection, not high-stakes decisions.

No. EQTiger does not diagnose mental-health conditions or disorders. It is not therapy, a mental-health screening, or a substitute for qualified care.

EQTiger is for adults aged 18 and older. It is not designed for children or for assessing someone without their participation.

For habit questions, answer from your recent everyday experience. For scenarios, read the question carefully and choose the response you think fits it. Do not try to build an ideal profile.

Skipped items do not earn zero points. A dimension needs at least three answered items; the overall score needs at least four scored dimensions. Incomplete answers reduce the information available, and low completion is flagged.

Yes. Different answers, circumstances, recall, and familiarity with the questions can change a result. A higher score alone does not establish improved real-world skill. Keep notes on actual behavior as well.

An attempt can begin anonymously, without creating an account. Answers are stored with that attempt. Saving or recovering access and purchasing a report may involve providing an email address.

Answers and full reports are not public content pages. Keep your private access links to yourself. A link holder may be able to access the information that link permits.

The retention policy is 90 days for unpaid attempts and 3 years for paid attempts. See the privacy draft for details and deletion requests.

Use the report recovery flow with the email used for the purchase. If you cannot recover access, contact support with the purchase date and receipt reference. Do not send card details or private access tokens.

Stripe processes the one-time payment. EQTiger receives payment status and purchase references needed to unlock the report. Do not send your card number to support.

Yes. Request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@eqtiger.com. Include the purchase email, date, and receipt reference. See the refund policy for the current terms.

Keep the receipt and use report recovery or contact support. Payment confirmation can require reconciliation. Avoid making a second purchase while the first is being checked.

No. Scoring and report entitlement are determined on the server. If an AI assistant is offered, it can help discuss reflection prompts but may make mistakes. It cannot establish the meaning of a score beyond the published methodology.

When you use an available AI assistant, your messages and the context supplied for the reply are sent to the AI provider. Avoid sensitive personal details and identifying information about other people. See the privacy policy before using it.
