Interactive emotion wheel
This interactive emotion wheel helps you move from a broad feeling to a more specific word. Select a core family to explore definitions, then choose a word to consider. It is an original EQTiger vocabulary aid, not a validated model or a claim that emotions fit neatly into six categories.

Who it is for
Adults who want a visual starting point for finding language in a journal, check-in, or ordinary conversation.
Move from the center toward a useful description
Start with a family that seems close, even if you are unsure. Read several nearby words before choosing. “Angry” might become “frustrated” when a task is blocked or “resentful” when a recurring arrangement feels unfair. The distinction is an invitation to look closer, not a rule about what you must feel.
The families overlap, and some entries describe attitudes or mixed states as well as emotions. There is no required order, intensity scale, or correct result. You can explore another family and keep more than one word.
Try the word in a sentence
Use “I feel ___ about ___” to connect a word to an event. For example, “I feel disappointed about the canceled visit and grateful that we can reschedule.” Compare that with “I feel that you do not care,” which expresses an interpretation of someone’s motive.
If nothing fits, leave the label unfinished. You can use your own language, describe a sensation, or return later. A vocabulary aid should widen your choices, not override the way you describe yourself.
