Adults who want a week of paper prompts for noticing ordinary experiences without turning every feeling into a problem to solve.
Use one ordinary moment each day
Choose a time that is easy to remember, or complete a page after a moment you want to understand. Write the event before your interpretation. “The meeting ended before my turn” and “My idea did not matter” are different kinds of statements.
Name one or two feelings, note any sensation you want to record, and identify what mattered. A next action could be asking for time on the next agenda, resting, or deciding to gather more information. It does not have to change your mood.
Review without grading the week
At the end of the week, look for recurring settings, expectations, or requests you did not voice. One week cannot establish a stable pattern by itself. Treat anything you notice as a question to explore, not a conclusion about your personality.
Print all eight pages or only the days you plan to use. Skip any prompt that feels unhelpful. Keep the journal somewhere appropriate for personal writing, especially if you share a workspace or household.
